Bias Statistics

Let's learn about bias in the study of statistics.

There are four different types of bias in statistics and these are listed below:
  • Spectrum bias
  • Omitted Variable bias
  • Systematic bias
  • Cognitive bias
 Next time i will help you with some other concept of statistics such as inference statistics. For more help you can also connect with an online tutor and get your help. Not just in statistics but in other topics such as geometry tutoring as well.

Do post me back your feed backs.

Critical Value

Let's learn about Critical Value in statistics in today's learning.

Critical value is an important concept of statistics which is used in calculus as well. The point where a function has its maxima and minima is called the critical value.

This cutoff value determines the boundary between the samples, on the basis of which , it is determined, whether to reject the null hypothesis or whether to not reject the null hypothesis. If the calculated value from the statistical information is greater than the critical value, then the null hypothesis is rejected in favor of the choice hypothesis and vice versa.

Next time i will share with you about statistics data graphs. For more help connect with a calculus tutor and get your help.

types of quadrilaterals

Let us learn about types of quadrilaterals

Quadrilaterals are 1 of the types of polygon. In geometry all quadrilaterals have 4 sides. All quadrilaterals are 2-Dimensional figures or polygons. The 4 sides figures are known as quadrilaterals. Quadrilaterals main property has width & length of 2 dimensions.
Types of quadrilaterals & their properties:
1. Parallelogram
2. Trapezoids.

make sentences using words

Let us try to make sentences using words

Math: Math is the study of quantity, space, structure, & change.

Addition: Addition is a basic operation in mathematics; addition has simple rules. Addition role in math problems are important in most of the problems.

Subtraction:
Subtraction is the operation which finds the difference between the given two numbers

Multiplication:
Multiplication means times or repeated addition. The symbol used for multiplication is '×'.

Fraction: A Fraction means a part of a group or a region or a whole.

curve sketching

Let us learn about curve sketching

Sketch the curve
y = - sin 2x ….(1)
Symmetry
(a) By replacing y by -y, the equation (1) is altered; so the curve is not symmetrical about x-axis.
(b) By replacing x by –x & the equation of the curve is altered; so the curve is not symmetrical about y-axis.
(c) Replace x & y by -x and -y respectively in the equation y = - sin 2x, the equation of the curve remain unaltered. So the curve is symmetrical in opposite quadrants.
The term “curve sketching” referred as using calculus to help draw the graph of a function by hand – the graph was the goal. Hence graphs can now be produced with great precision using computers & calculators.

matrix properties

Let us learn about matrix properties

The invertible matrix properties represent the properties which explain the matrices that are invertible that is which matrices are compatible to find out the inverse of the matrix in detail. Some properties involved in the invertible matrix are mentioned below
  • The invertible matrix must be square - matrix.
  • The invertible matrix must be the non - singular matrix.
  • The determinant value should not be “0” zero.

hypotenuse calculator

Let us solve problem using hypotenuse calculator

The Hypotenuse Calculator makes it simple to find the length of any hypotenuse

The hypotenuse calculator can be found using the Pythagorean Theorem which states that a^2 + b^2 = c^2. Square the 2 sides add them together then find the square root to calculate the hypotenuse. A hypotenuse is referred as the side of a right triangle opposite the right angle

Use hypotenuse calculator to find the hypotenuse of the triangle when the 2 sides are a=8cm & b=6cm

Right angle triangle

a=8cm & b=6c, if we substitute the side values a & b in the calculator, then we get the hypotenuse value.
Using Pythagorean Theorem, we have to use hypotenuse calculator to find the hypotenuse.
: a2 + b2 = c2
82 + 62 = c2
64+36= c2
100= c2
C=10cm
Therefore the hypotenuse of the triangle is c=10cm.
