centroid of a triangle

Hi Friends!!!

In our previous blog we learned how to find the area of a triangle. Today let us learn about centroid of a triangle

What is centroid?
Centroid of a triangle is the point of intersection of all its three medians. The centre of mass of a uniform object is also called as Centroid.

centroid of a triangle is defined as the point of intersection between the medians of the triangle. The centroid of a triangle is also called as the geometric center or Bary center. The centroid of a triangle always lies inside the triangle. Which means the centroid of any concave polygon lies inside the polygon. In case of convex polygons the centroid may be lies outside sometimes

I hope the above explanation was useful.Keep reading and leave your comments.
